Home & School Information

Volunteers, who work closely with the Hillcrest admin, teachers, and staff to provide enriching programs and fun activities for our students. These events and activities are funded solely by donations and fundraisers organized by the HSA. We are excited to have you as part of the Hillcrest Community.The Hillcrest Home and School Association (HSA) provides much-needed support to the school community, and runs a variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.  Every Hillcrest family is a member of the HSA!

We hold events throughout the year. Check the Wednesday Email and the School Calendar for exact dates. Some of our favorites are: Free Back to School Social, Marple Sports Arena Nights, Fall Outdoor Movie Night, Trunk or Treat, Candy Grams, Grade 3-5 Dance, Talent Show, Grade K-2 Dance, and Family Socials. YOUR IDEAS are always welcome!

We raise money through a variety of activities and fundraisers throughout the year. This pays for things like: Free Back to School Social Snacks and Activities, Teacher Welcome Back Breakfast, Fall Movie Night, Teacher Mini Grants, K-2, 3-5, and 5th grade Dances, PSSA Motivation Treats, Teacher Concert Gifts, Free Family Social, 5th grade Yearbooks, Scholarships for Hillcrest Alumni, Teacher Luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Week, and Popsicles for Field Day."
